Stefano joined oikos in 2016 as PhD fellow at the University of Zurich’s Department of Banking and Finance. His research interests are in the field of corporate finance and governance, and the relevance of sustainability topics in financial markets. He studied business and economics at the University of Milan-Bicocca (Italy) and obtained a Master of Science in Economics at the University of Edinburgh (UK). He worked as an intern at the European Commission on industrial competitiveness, and spent 5 years in the field of social finance and socially responsible investments, working for a leading environmental, social and governance research provider. Stefano believes in financial education as a tool for social inclusion and is a keen cycling advocate.
