Supply Chain Sustainability: Best Practice

21 February 2017 | Chapter-News, Project

In our globalized world, where the majority of businesses’ material sourcing programs span vast distances across the world, it has become commonplace to implement supplier Codes of Conduct. But what does this mean for accountability? How can companies ensure that their suppliers are committed to ethically and environmentally sustainable practices?

Pandora, the contemporary, high-quality, danish jewellery company, is a good example of how companies can aim to ensure responsibility from their suppliers and hold their suppliers (and themselves) accountable. Pandora’s commitment to transparency and accountability is evident through their Responsible Supplier Programme, continued use of recycled materials and attention toward human and workers’ rights.

Come join us on Thursday the 2nd of March at SP202.
