- Ankit Agarwal (India, India) - Executive Board Member 2015/2016
Ankit currently works at Symantec Corporation on ‘Software Automation’ and is pursuing a part time masters in Sustainable sciences. He has pursed a Bachelor in Engineering – Information Technology followed by a Masters in Innovation Management. His interest in sustainability stems from the research he conducted to solve the environmental menace by discarded vehicle tires. Ankit has published 11 research papers in various International journals and some of his work is being reviewed at patent offices. He found oikos Pune in May, 2013. As the president of oikos Pune he worked on fund raising, conceptualizing projects, roadmaps and recruiting new members. He is pursuing a part-time master in Sustainable sciences. - Anna Beyer (Austria, Austria) - Executive Board Member 2016
Anna is studying Business Law at the Vienna University of Business, while working part time. Her oikos journey started three years ago at the still infant oikos Vienna, which she helped to build up. She also served at the board of oikos Vienna during the 2014/15 term and together with a great team she successfully organised the CEE meeting 2015 in Vienna. For Anna oikos was a chance to work on important topics neglected in her studies so far, which she realised after coming back from a semester abroad in Ireland and interning at the office of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce to the European Union in Brussels.Contact Anna: anna.beyer@oikos-international.org
- Pratik Chandwani (India, Canada) - Executive Board Member 2015
Pratik is the co-founder & President for oikos Pune. He is on the organizing board of oikos FutureLab 2014. Pratik holds a Bachelor in Engineering – Computer Science followed by a Masters in Software Systems and is currently pursuing second Masters in Innovation Management & Entrepreneurship. Pratik has authored seven books for various engineering majors and has published two research papers in International journals. His interest in Sustainability stems from his belief of greener lives for members of the society by applying sustainable technologies. At oikos Pune, Pratik has worked on projects like I-GREEN, SIVIC, Morning Alarms, Sustainable Case Studies and presided over – Roadmap, strategizing projects, website, fundraising, social media, newsletters and spreading oikos awareness. Pratik was the lead organizer for Design thinking workshop 2013 and oikos Asia meet 2014. - Mariam Khakidze (Georgia, Germany) - Executive Board Member 2015/2016
Mariam studies on Master in Economics at Friedrich Schiller University, Jena, Germany. In 2013 she graduated Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Economics and Business. She was studying at Vytautas Magnus University, Lithuania for one semester.In 2011, she became one of the first members of oikos Tbilisi. During 2012-2014 she was an executive board member. In 2012 she became a manager of the grant project: “The status of student organizations and their participation in university governance in Georgia” financed by the higher education support program of Open society foundation. From 2013, she is the president of oikos Jena. She is keen on singing.
- Anita Negri (Italy, Switzerland) - President 2015 & 2016
Anita Negri was born in Italy and worked and studied in over 14 cities. She has been involved in oikos Maastricht since 2011 where she served as President, and Chief Organiser of the Spring Meeting 2013. Anita has always had a passion for education, sustainability leadership and HR development and engaged in these throughout her studies and work experiences. She is also an External Advisor to the UNPRME, representing youth.
- Levan Pangani (Georgia, Poland) - Executive Board Member 2015
Levan studies Economics at Tbilisi State University, Georgia. He founded oikos Tbilisi in January, 2011. As a president of oikos Tbilisi he led a lot of projects, including two large one-year projects funded by OSF. He has several years of managerial experience, working as a head of some local organisations in Georgia. His area of interest is sustainable development of economics, as well as in-depth research of other fields connected to it. His efforts to increase awareness of sustainability across Georgia and Caucasus Region are widely recognised and talked about by academia in Georgia.
