Who we are

Students, as you might expect, want to learn, and they want to be able to make a difference. But sustainability is so big of an idea and so broad of a term, that it can be hard for students to know where to even begin. Our vision is to have an impact on the community at large by imbedding socially responsible and ecologically conscious perspectives in education, research, and life.

oikos Edmonton is part of an international student-lead organization which works at the local level to instil values of sustainability in the business leaders of tomorrow. Our own chapter is based out out of MacEwan University where our mission is to engage students in sustainable business practices in commerce through a platform of learning, networking, and hands-on projects.
