oikos Community spans 40 local chapters at universities around the world. These oikos Chapters are made out of students, coming together to create projects that drive change on local campus and beyond, through collaboration with various stakeholders. They work together with universities and business schools, academia, experts and businesses, as well as other oikos Chapters to deliver impact both locally and internationally. You can join an existing oikos Chapter or take the lead in bringing oikos to your university by setting up a local chapter.

oikos International is regularly looking for passionate individuals who want to help empower students to integrate sustainability in economics and management education and society. Volunteer are important part of the impact we create as an organization and a global community by supporting project teams or directly contributing to the projects at hand. Your personal preferences, skills and talents will shape your own experience and our expectations when it comes to finding your role in the team. The oikos Partners Network connects students with some of the world’s most influential sustainability and education platforms, such as PRME, HESI, Sulitest, PIR and Carbon Literacy Project. This gives students the opportunity to increase their impact beyond their campus. Through these partnerships, they can access global research hubs, participate in high-profile events, receive professional training, collaborate on real curriculum-change projects and engage with UN-linked initiatives. In short, oikos’ partners enable students to leverage international expertise, credibility and resources to transform your ideas into tangible actions and help shape the future of sustainable economics and management.
