Deadline extension – submit your projects by 26 November!
We are starting a new academic year with our diverse community of student changemakers who keep thriving with action and innovative ideas towards sustainability. The work of our chapters deserves the spotlight and to be showcased & celebrated. This is why we are launching yet another (third edition) of the oikos Community Impact Contest: a participatory, fun and engaging way for our chapters to showcase and celebrate their accomplishments and share it with the oikos community. This contest celebrates the incredible effort and the impact our chapters are creating at their local campus and beyond through this unique opportunity to present their work to a wider audience.
How can you take part in this contest?
- Participate: Hand in all projects that you would like to share with our global oikos community, by filling this form (10-15 mins per entry) by November 26th. Tell us your story behind the project and inspire some more hearts from the community! Be creative!
- Vote: The community and wider audience will get to vote from 23.11. – 6.12. The oikos community will be able to vote online on their preferred projects and initiatives.
- Celebration & Publication: The initiatives with the most votes from four categories (learning, leading, living & organizing) will be announced during the Semester Reflection Call and will be showcased on the oikos International website. 😉 Only thing left : CELEBRATION!
To host a truly meaningful contest, we call all oikos Chapters to participate!
About the Impact Matrix:
oikos International has developed the oikos Impact Matrix: a tool to track & trace the impact of the umbrella organisation and of course our whole community, with a focus on real-time accountability and the stories behind our work.
The oikos Community Impact Contest invites our chapters into co-creating the matrix as it offers an opportunity to share their most important projects & initiatives on the local level.
