Registration oikos Case Competition 2014

Before submitting the submission form please make sure you understood and accept the following terms and conditions:

*I declare that no mention is made of the author(s) and the name of my institution anywhere in the case.

*I declare that the case is released by management of the subject organisation/company for use by other business schools and for publication.

*I declare that I read the guidelines on preparing a teaching case and a teaching note.

*If I am a judge, I declare that for the final judging round I will not participate in the selection of prize winners, in case that my case has qualified for the final judging round.

*I agree that if my case is chosen as a winner, I will consider submitting a revised version taking into account the jury’s comments on improving the case.

*I agree that if my case is chosen as a winner, an inspection copy of the case will be posted in the oikos online case collection (http://www.oikos-international.org/academic/case-collection/about.html).

*I agree that if my case is chosen as a winner, a case abstract of my case will be published in CasePlace.org database.

*oikos recommends that you submit your case to the European Case Clearing House (ecch) case collection. I agree that if my case is chosen as a winner, my contact details will be given to ecch in order to discuss the options for including my case in the ecch collection. Copyright remains with the case author(s) or the case author(s)’ academic institution.

Additionally, please meet the following requirements and ensure the submitted case is….

*written in English language (max. 20 pages)

*accompanied by a Case Abstract (max. 200-400 words)

*accompanied by a Case Teaching Note (max. 10 pages)

*unpublished at the day of submission (the case must remain unpublished until the end of the revision process)

*submitted without any indication of the author(s) and the names of the authors’ institution anywhere in the case.

*in one single file in Microsoft Word format (doc or docx) containing Abstract, Case & Teaching Note

*not mentioned on any web-pages (the authorship of the case must remain unknown until the end of the revision process)

*based on a real business situation and usable for teaching at business schools

*based on a recent situation or development (after January 2011)

*released by management of the subject organisation/company for use by other business schools and for publication

*submitted via email to

*submitted prior to December 9, 2013 (Deadline)
