oikos is a student-driven non-profitable organization (in accordance with the 1901 French law) which aims at raising NEOMA BS students ‘awareness about sustainable economics and development.
oikos strives to make sustainability a constant issue in the basic management classes students at NEOMA attend, so that they integrate this dimension in their future decisions.
oikos Reims was created in 2007 and is one of the 39 chapters of the oikos network.
oikos empowers students through many different projects :
- A social project, which focuses on the fair trade awareness in partnership with “Artisan du Monde”. This project aims at building links with other NEOMA social organizations, by implementing conferences, testimonies.
- A financial project called Finansemble which supports several projects in Burkina Faso by granting loans, so that a village could reach self-sufficiency.
- An environmental project, raise people’s awareness about both responsible diets and recycling.
