Lenka Parkanova


Lenka Parkanova is President of oikos International and currently lives in St Gallen, Switzerland. She holds two Master Degrees in Environmental Economics and Management at University of Economics in Prague and in Environmental Studies at Masaryk University in Brno (CZ). During her studies she worked in an eco-counselling centre Veronica and later took part in a fair trade campaign dealing with poor working conditions in garment industry. She aims to be well oriented not only in the mainstream environmental economics and policy, but also in alternative economical approaches and promote fruitful discussions between these fields.

Anirudh Agrawal


Anirudh Agrawal currently doing Phd in social entreprenurship at Center for corporate social responsibility, Copenhagen business school. His research interests are social entrepreneurship, social investment fund and organizational theory.

He has worked in Spain, France, German and India as a consultant, engineer and entrepreneur. He did undergraduate studies in mechanical engineering from Punjab Engineering College, India and Master in Engineering from INSA Lyon France and ETSEIB Barcelona. In addition his education in Engineering, he has certificate in Economics and Organization Strategy from HEC Paris.

Dario Mazzella


Dario Mazzella is currently doing a PhD in Geopolitics at the University of Pisa, focusing on the economic sustainable development of the Mediterranean Sea Basin. He holds a Master Degree in Innovation Management from the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies. His research interests are social entrepreneurship, impact investing, social innovation, startups and policies for financing innovations.
He has worked in Italy, Spain, Ireland and Malta as EU projects consultant. He is currently working for META Group, an international group supporting the creation of knowledge intensive companies. Last but not least he is in charge of the project management of the next Global Entrepreneurship Congress, that will be held in Milan in March 2015.

Bogdan Prokopovych


Bogdan Prokopovych holds a PhD in Management from the College of Business at the University of Rhode Island and a Masters in Public Policy and Management from the University of Pittsburgh. He is currently a researcher with the EU-funded project “Social Enterprise as a Force for More Inclusive and Innovative Societies (SEFORIS)” with the Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics (SITE) at the Stockholm School of Economics, where he is examining the financing forms used by social entrepreneurs. His other research focuses on the role of organizations in fostering market-based responses to environmental and societal challenges in both emerging and developed economies. He previously was a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Rhode Island. Bogdan is originally from Ukraine and has worked, conducted research, and studied in several countries, including Sweden, Germany, Tajikistan and Azerbaijan. His professional work experience includes managing a non-profit media advocacy organization and working at the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank Group. Besides doing research, Bogdan enjoys learning foreign languages, traveling, playing basketball, and spending time with his family.

Andrea Tabi


Andrea has currently started her research in social acceptance of renewables at the Institute of Economy and the Environment at the University of St. Gallen. Her research focuses on choice modeling regarding the hydropower expansion in Switzerland. She investigates the economic, environmental, and social impacts of the expansion of hydropower production projected by the Swiss Energy Strategy 2050, as well as the economic trade-offs and preferences of Swiss population for the alternative hydropower expansion scenarios. She earned an MSc degree in Economics and Management and also a BSc degree in Biology.

Eka Datuashvili


Social Enterprise Development Program Coordinator, Centre of Strategic Research and Development of Georgia.
Ms. Datuashvili has 18 years of experience in working for the civic sector and in managing developmental programs. Previously, she has worked at the Institute of Biochemistry, the Center for AIDS and HIV, and the Georgian Parliament. Since 1995, she has been working at the Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia, where she manages the program on strengthening civil society organizations and since 2009 - the social enterprise development program, which is one of the main priorities of the organization. She is editor in chief of the first social enterprise manual in Georgian. In addition, she is a coordinator of various types of research in SE firld in Georgia.
Ms. Datuashvili also has 15 years of training/consulting experience in organizational development, general management, strategic planning and evaluation.
