This December, we’re bringing the oikos community back together where it all began — St. Gallen. In the spirit of connection, reflection, and celebration, we warmly invite our alumni for a festive afternoon that bridges generations of oikees.
Why this hike?
For almost three decades, oikos has been a space for students to challenge the status quo, push forward new ideas, and shape education for a sustainable world. Our alumni carry this spirit into their careers, communities, and families. This hike is about reconnecting with that shared purpose — while also having fun and enjoying good company.
What to expect:
- A festive afternoon hike on December 13th
- Informal conversations & space to share ideas
- Alumni memories & light inspiration
- A chance to connect with fellow alumni, students, and the wider oikos community
Practicalities:
- When? 13th of December, 1PM
- Location: St. Gallen
- Meeting point: St. Gallen train station (under the clock)
- Participants: 30–50 oikos alumni and current oikees
- Costs: covered by participants (with optional contribution/donation to support oikos)
- Organized jointly by oikos International and oikos St. Gallen
