oikos Newsletter December 2017

This year marked the 30th anniversary of oikos. We hosted a range of important events, discussions, meetings, conferences, LEAP, FutureLab 2017, and Alumni events to tackle the challenges in the field of sustainability and sustainability leadership. We have a 30-year history and many accomplishments to be proud of!

As we move towards 2018, we have several challenges up ahead and many changes to implement. As always, we look forward to your commitment and involvement in the oikos community as we move forward to yet another year of making oikos history together.

In this Newsletter, we share updates on the numerous oikos activities worldwide. You can read about the Francophone Meeting that gathered the French-speaking chapters of Lille, Brussels and Lausanne, and took place in Reims, France. You can also learn about the oikos LEAP Webinar with Professor Robert E. Quinn and his insights into the leadership experience. Follow Clémentine Robert’s journey through India, in her role as oikos Outreach Manager, as she works to facilitate the transfer of knowledge between India and the international community on sustainability related topics. Read our new oikos Alumni Profile section, featuring Alex Bozier. In our “30 seconds with” segment, meet Robert Stürmer, our talented oikos photographer.

We have also announced a Call for the next oikos International President. Please, note that the deadline is on the 21st of February, 2018.

Finally, we wish you Happy Holidays and an excellent New Year!
