We are looking for a purpose-driven individual with a dedication to oikos’ vision & mission and shared understanding of leadership to co-lead our program for early career researchers – LEAP Researchers. Your role will be implementing the PRMEi5 Pedagogy in its heart, hosting the program participants and closely collaborating with UN PRME i5 team.
Starting Date: as soon as possible (or based on mutual agreement)
Duration: Minimum commitment until February 2025 (possibility to extend)
Percentage of occupation: 50% (possibility to go for 40% or 60%)
Salary: minimum base salary is 1000 CHF/month for 50 % commitment plus additional increase depending on individual employee’s circumstances up to maximum 1900 CHF again for 50 %. The final calculation will be based on oikos fair salary strategy.
Location: remote from anywhere in the world with good internet connection and the ability to adapt to different time zones.
Competencies you would need in this role…
… experience in project management – especially organizing & hosting online events; creating outlines & agendas; creating & managing budgets & collaborating with wide range of stakeholders (students, faculty, sustainability experts, educators, etc.)
… leadership development experience – either you took part in a leadership program OR you have a coaching certification OR another in-depth experience with personal development (e.g. going through coaching, therapy, etc.). A network in the field of leadership, personal development and education is a plus as well.
… knowledge and passion for sustainability, pedagogy and transformative learning – economic system that respects ecosystem limits and serves the society is close to your mind and heart, you consider education, learning and personal development as a key to achieve it and want to make it happen
… the ability to work fully remote – with a stable internet connection, your personal laptop & equipment needed; a good command of online tools such as Google Workspace, Zoom, Miro, etc.; willingness to learn working with online tools and an openness to work & connect with your colleagues and the community over Zoom.
… a high level of self-organization – planning & managing your tasks and work and holding yourself accountable; being proactive and able to anticipate needs of the organization & community & participants; as well as a sensitivity to deadlines.
… a proficiency in English in writing & speaking – all your work will be in English; if you speak other languages that is a plus, but not a must.
… an openness to co-create – with your colleagues, program participants and alumni, coaches, and other professionals.
