My vision: “I would like to help other people achieve a good and happy life and, through my work and research, contribute to the flourishing of society. I also aim to bridge the gap between research and practice in order that we, as academicians, are better able to respond to practitioners’ needs and provide appropriate and easy to implement solutions. I believe that educating people and spreading knowledge are keys to build a better world.”
I have always been very curious about the world and driven by a strong passion for learning. I have never been so thrived since I have started my university studies. Being in such a vibrant and dynamic learning environment is a constant source of inspiration which does not only allow to partly satisfy my curiosity and thirst of learning but which also greatly contributes to broaden my mind and constantly drags me out of my comfort zone. Hence, after having completed a Bachelor and Master degree in Economics at the University of St.Gallen (HSG), I decided to continue my studies with a PhD in Management. Being aware of the importance of having “good” leaders and being fascinated by Aristotelian philosophy, I am planning to write my dissertation on the topic of “virtuous leadership”. In parallel, I am working as teaching assistant for the Institute of Work and Employment Research (HSG) and as a research assistant in the “Good Organisations” project.
