On november 22, oikos Jamshedpur will organize a career fair as a closure of Tarapore Fellowship Program 2018, run by oikos Jamshedpur in colllabration with CGMRL. It will attract over 420 students from 27 government schools in and around Jamshedpur. 16 Professionals from various segments will guide the students on their future career.
The Tarapore Fellowship Program was initiated in June 2018 under the guidance of Prof. Pingali Venugopal, wherein a group of 16 students were selected from various schools across Jamshedpur and were trained by oikos Jamshedpur team on how to interact with young kids of underprivileged societies and in the process address the problem of rural education.
These students worked with various government schools in nearby villages to implement sustainable solutions for burning problems like infrastructure, pedagogy etc.
