Greenflicks is a casual social event organized once per term in oikos Edmonton to screen a sustainability-themed documentary or film made by a local Edmonton filmmaker.
On February 13, 2018 oikos Edmonton will be showing two episodes of the Sustainable Me video series: Are We There Yet? and Econo-Me. Filmed and produced in Edmonton, the full Sustainable Me series explores what young people are doing in the fields of food, living spaces, consumerism, transportation, water, and ethics. The videos allow meeting a number of young entrepreneurs, risk takers, and educators who challenge us to explore preexisting ways of thinking and make our own organic changes to how we live.
Terri Wynnyk, executive producer of the series will join the event. He will shed some knowledge and give a backstage look into the series.
