oikos Legislative Meeting Spring 2025 – What decisions were made?

Dear oikees!

The first Legislative Meeting of 2025 has been concluded with important decisions made by a vote from oikos Chapters’ representatives. The oikos Community came together for the online meeting on 13th of April and the following decisions were made as the result of Chapters’ votes:

1. Jule Neumann was elected as the next oikos International Co-president for the 2026 to 2027 term. The handover period will start in November 2025 with Jule fully stepping into her new role from January 2026 as a successor of Michael Winter.
2. oikos International 2024 Annual Report was approved by the Legislative Assembly. You can find it published here.
3. The oikos chapter at New School, New York has officially been closed.
4. oikos Istanbul will be relocated to Koç University and remain a full chapter.

Thank you to everyone who joined the Legislative Meeting and the representatives who voted on their oikos Chapters’ behalf.
