As a Data Science student from oikos Warsaw, I’m passionate about the human side of sustainability—uniting people to create change—and have a slight addiction to finding clever ways to automate my workflows. My oikos journey over the last four years has taken me from designing graphics and serving on the local board to co-organizing the 2025 International Chapter Conference.
I believe our true power lies in our oikees. I want to bring my energy to the board to cultivate a strong and communicative community, knowing it’s the foundation that turns great strategies into real success.

I am Patricija, originally from Lithuania, the land of magical forests, and enchanting rivers and lakes. Growing up, I have spent lots of time exploring the nature. That is when I started building my admiration and connection to it. For the past 5 years I have been living, studying, volunteering, and working in Copenhagen, Denmark. That is also where I learnt about sustainability, and then everything simply made sense. I knew that whatever I do in life, I want sustainability to be at the core of it. So, I started exploring, engaging, and seeking experiences.

Hi, I’m Zuzanna, a student of Sustainable Business and Finance at SGH and former President of oikos Warsaw. Leading our chapter has been an inspiring journey of building community through projects, events, and weekly meetings—all fueled by shared values and creativity. I am passionate about sustainability not just as a field of study, but as a way to connect people and create real-world impact. As a member of the oikos Board, I would love to strengthen collaboration between chapters, foster a sense of global community, and inspire others by sharing the oikos story at partner meetings and international events.

Hi, I’m Ola! I’m a curious and energetic student who loves bringing people together around sustainability. As Vice President of oikos Warsaw, I had the chance to co-organize the ICC and help build a supportive community of changemakers. I truly believe that “when you’re not alone, anything is possible”, and this belief inspires the way I work with teams and connect with people. I’m known for my positivity and openness, and I’m excited to bring this spirit to the oikos International Board.

I am an enthusiastic nature seeker, drawn to mountains and forests, yet my daily retreat is a simple walk in the countryside. The ocean holds an even deeper place in my heart, fueling my commitment to supporting NGOs and organisations that protect our ecosystems. From hands-on cleanups to educating communities, I strive to promote sustainability at every level, encouraging a holistic way of living.
My name is Jules, and I am deeply passionate about sustainability. I started my educational career in Business Management and transitioned to a Master’s in Environmental System Science. I joined oikos Graz in 2021, where I could actively shape impact-driven projects. Later on I moved to Costa Rica and was working on a coffee farm, I experienced eco-tourism, regenerative agriculture, and carbon neutrality firsthand.

our team structure.
Inspired by theories of self-organizing such as Holacracy, Sociocracy and Reinventing Organizations, we co-created a team structure that reflected current developments in the organization. It also informs how we work, relate and interact as a team to collaborate even more meaningfully.
The circles you see in our diagram encompass sets of roles that belong to each other. Roles are formed out of a set of tasks that go together. By owning a role in a circle, a person becomes a member of the circle.
