Academy 2020

The oikos Curriculum Academy is a 3-day workshop for students, early career researchers, faculty representatives and other stakeholders, developed and facilitated by oikos student members. Its main purpose is to reflect and learn about innovative economics and management programs and teaching approaches that are designed to address current global environmental and social challenges.

The first oikos Curriculum Academy was held at the University of Economics in Prague, Czech Republic, in October, 2019. To increase the outreach of the event, several sessions were also hosted online.

The second Curriculum Academy, organized in cooperation with oikos Lausanne will now take place entirely online from April 3-5, 2020 as a consequence of the COVID19 pandemic. We are very happy to still provide you this space for exchange online and see this as an opportunity to grow and even practice modern education techniques, as a lot of universities switched to online classes now. We will still do our best to create an interactive, innovative and inspiring event for you. Please have a look at the adjusted program.

It is still a participant driven event and some of the already registered participants will have the opportunity to share their work or topics with us in different formats.

Open Day

On the first day of the Academy, Friday April 3 we will organise a Curriculum Reform Day open to everyone and host a workshop focused on curricum reform followed by an interactive discussion on economics and management education. Both, the workshop as well as the discussion will be entirely online.
