Dear oikees,
We’re sending Gratitude to our Volunteers – students, members of chapters, International Board, project members and alumni, who dedicate their time to supporting the mission of oikos across all levels are truly the backbone of our Community. The hours of work and dedication you’ve given to oikos this year have made a far-reaching impact, helping drive change and do our part toward reaching our common vision.
Given the difficult circumstances and challenges that this year brought onto every corner of the world and, especially, how that reflects on our field of work, oikos International underwent a significant adjustment in 2024, with a smaller team and reduced capacities compared to previous years. Despite it all, we achieved a lot of what we have set our minds to and it would not have been possible without you. The Community has not lost hope, kept the high spirit and continued its work with passion and determination.
For this, we want to give our gratitude to all of you who have been a part of oikos journey this year as volunteers. Your selfless drive is not only inspiring but also what continuously shapes oikos. We have a great honour to have the opportunity to work side by side and steward this Community of changemakers eager to give their best to achieve the vision of a better and sustainable future. It is what keeps our spirits high, enabling us to face and overcome even the toughest challenges with the help of your talents.
Thank you for all the passion and effort you have dedicated to oikos this year! We wish you a great ending of the year and success in your current and future endeavors. And remember, we are always here to give a helping hand and overcome challenges together!
